After a year and a half in London we decided it was time to say cheerio and head back home to the states. We had been abroad for just over three years and for various reasons (both personal and professional) the timing seemed right.
So we spent our last few weeks as super tourists... basically making sure we saw all the sites you don't take the time to see when you're a local.
From Westminster to Buckingham to the London Eye, we saw just about everything any guide book could recommend.
Of course our time in London was so much more than just visiting the sites. We made some new friends, got closer to several old friends who moved there with us from Barcelona, and got to experience the life of working professionals in one of the largest/most diverse business centers in the world. Additionally, we were lucky enough to be here for the Royal Wedding, the Olympics, the Queen's Jubilee, and of course the birth of Caden!
