While Kathy and Paul were visiting we took a day trip to Montserrat, a mountain about an hour outside of Barcelona. The mountain is famous for its odd jagged rock formation and the fact that it is home to the Benedictine Abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat.
We caught the last 15 minutes of Sunday Mass and then spent the rest of the afternoon strolling around, taking pictures, and tasting cheese from the local market. Cabra (goat cheese) was the big favorite that day. I've always liked goat cheese, but Chicago goats have nothing on Montserrat goats... this stuff was awesome!
