Barcelona Maratón

We got to watch the Barcelona marathoners run by from our balcony.  It was pretty cool.  The guys below were the first two runners to come by.  The one in orange, Jackson Katut from Kenya, actually ended up passing the other and coming in first place place with a race time of 2:07:30!

Debele Wudnesh Nega, also from Kenya, won the race for the women with a race time of 2:31:51!  I don't have a photo of her... she was probably running too fast to catch on film.

At first, watching all these runners made me want to sign up for a marathon.  That was until I saw guys like the one below that were still running after 6 hours!  It made me tired just watching!

Congratulations to everyone that raced!  Very impressive.
